Vivienne's Citrus Honey with Rosehip


Herbal honeys are arguably one of the most enjoyable ways to consume herbs.

My kids go nuts for a warm spoonful of herb infused honey after dinner, and making it is a fun process we can do together without totally upending the kitchen.

My daughter Vivienne recently created this simple recipe with lemon, orange and rosehip. It’s a light, uplifting honey that’s ideal for late winter when you’ve HAD IT with chilly temps and grey skies.


  • 3 tsp orange peel powder

  • 2 tsp lemon peel powder

  • 2.5 tsp rosehip powder

  • 7 oz raw honey

*I purchase powdered bulk herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs.


  • Warm honey in a double boiler. Slowly whisk in herbs until well incorporated. Pour into 8 oz Mason jar. Allow to cool, then screw on lid.
